Sabrina Yoder runs Fireweed Functional Medicine in Ketchikan and sees only women and girls. She is a nurse practitioner and nurse-midwife who has worked in women's health since 2008, and she came to this work after a long, unexplained illness of her own following her first child's birth. Care starts with a 90-minute intake, then hour-long follow-ups to go over lab results, paid either per visit or through a six-month membership. Her focus is perimenopause, PCOS, thyroid and menstrual problems, and she uses lab testing, lifestyle changes and supplements alongside hormone therapy when she thinks it fits. She is not a primary care provider, so you need a separate clinician for screenings and acute care.
