Giese has been an OB/GYN at Kaiser Permanente's Delta Fair Medical Offices in Antioch since she finished her residency in 2003. She works only in the outpatient clinic now and does outpatient gyn procedures, after years of labor and delivery and gynecologic surgery in the hospital. Menopause and midlife health is one of the topics she names as common in her practice, along with hormone therapy for menopause symptoms. Kaiser prescribes FDA-approved bioidentical estradiol and progesterone from its own pharmacies and advises against compounded hormone prescriptions, so that is the route to hormones here. She grew up in the East Bay and sees patients in Spanish, and she is board certified in lifestyle medicine on top of obstetrics and gynecology. She is also the physician site lead for the Delta Fair building, which means she works with every department in it.
