A three-provider Ob/Gyn clinic in Santa Barbara, part of Cottage Medical Group. Care runs from pregnancy and birth through gynecology, and the clinic names individualized menopause care as something its whole team is trained in. Her own bio on the clinic page says she is a certified menopause specialist too, so the menopause work is hers and not only a colleague's. She goes by Maribeth on the clinic site rather than Mary, which is worth knowing before you call. She came to midwifery from the NICU and has been attending births for about 15 years. Visits are booked by phone during weekday office hours, and the clinic says all of its providers are taking new patients.
She practices in the obstetrics and gynecology group at Sansum Medical Group Santa Barbara, which is part of Sutter Health. Her office is the Pueblo Care Complex on West Pueblo Street, open weekdays from 7am to 6pm and closed on weekends. Her work centers on perimenopause and menopause, with sexual health and urogenital health alongside it. She trained at Georgetown University School of Nursing. Her panel is closed right now, and the only route the group shows is the My Health Online portal for women who have already seen her. Visits are in person at that one office, and the group publishes nothing about how a first appointment runs or what she prescribes.
Dr. Lepine opened the Cottage Ob/Gyn Clinic in Santa Barbara in 2023 and ran it as medical director, and Cottage Health still described her in that role in February 2025. In June 2026 Cottage Health named a different physician medical director of that clinic, and the announcement does not mention Dr. Lepine. She is no longer named on the clinic's provider team page, she does not appear anywhere in Cottage Health's physician directory, and her Cottage profile page has been taken down. Before Santa Barbara she practiced obstetrics and gynecology at Kaiser in Kona, Hawaii, and did relief work for PeaceHealth in Washington and Alaska. She trained at UC San Diego and then did an Epidemic Intelligence Service fellowship at the CDC, which is unusual for a practicing gynecologist, and she speaks Spanish. We could not find a current practice for her, so there is no way to tell a reader how to reach her today.
