Women's Health of Greenwich is a small membership practice with two clinicians, Kerr and a board-certified gynecologist, and membership is the only way to be seen there. Kerr moved to it after the Blum Center for Health in Rye Brook closed at the end of August 2026, and she brings a functional medicine background to ordinary gynecologic care. She sees women from adolescence onward, and her own focus is menopause and midlife hormone therapy along with medical weight management using GLP-1 drugs. The practice does no obstetrics, so pregnancy care has to stay with someone else. Membership buys direct contact with your own clinician, including after hours by phone, text or email, and blood draws are done in the office rather than at a lab. Women who want hormone care and nothing else are welcome, but there is no hormone-only option, so they join on the same annual membership as everyone else.
Dr. La Perla is an OB-GYN with Women's Health Group, part of the large Women's Health Connecticut network, and sees patients in Enfield and Wethersfield. She joined the group in 2022 after residency at St. Francis, where she won an award for excellence in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery. Her bio links to her Menopause Society certification. The group's menopause care uses standard hormone therapy with estrogen and progestin, and it also offers non-hormonal medicines for hot flashes. She works within a full-scope gynecology practice rather than a menopause-only clinic, and her bio says she is taking new patients.
Barbara Dougherty is a nurse practitioner at YoungerMeMD, a hormone and longevity practice in Conshohocken. The monthly membership is charged on top of the cost of treatment and does not include medication. The intake fee covers baseline lab work, which is drawn at Quest only and needs 8 to 12 hours of fasting. Beyond hormone care the practice also offers peptides, low dose naltrexone and rapamycin.
Minkin is a Yale clinical professor who has been in private practice around New Haven for more than 40 years. She rotates between three Connecticut offices, one day a week in each, in New Haven, Guilford and Essex. Her current practice is general gynecology and women's health with a focus on peri- and postmenopausal quality of life. Since 2008 she has also directed the Sexuality, Intimacy and Menopause clinic in the gynecological oncology division at Smilow Cancer Hospital, so sexual health after cancer treatment is a real part of her work. She no longer does obstetrics or gynecologic surgery and leaves that to the group she practices with, which admits patients to Yale New Haven Hospital. Her website is mostly free education she wrote for patients and younger clinicians, including videos on menopause and on menopause for cancer survivors, and a blog she writes with her mathematician husband that opens with why she left electronic medical recordkeeping.
Elizabeth Swenson is a board certified obstetrician gynecologist certified by the Menopause Society. Her listing points to Gennev, a national telehealth menopause service that bills insurance and also publishes self pay rates. Gennev does not name her anywhere. Its Our Providers page lists thirty six doctors and she is not among them, the site search returns no result for her, and no bio page exists for her while other clinicians' bios load normally. No other current practice could be found for her.
