Midlife Wellness is a solo, consultation-only telehealth practice run by Lisa Gay from St. Croix, seeing women in the US Virgin Islands only. It is explicitly a complement to a patient's primary care provider or gynecologist and does not provide primary care or general gynecology. Visits are long, with an hour for the first one, and cover both hormonal and non-hormonal options. Estrogen, progesterone, testosterone and thyroid hormone are prescribed when clinically appropriate, but the practice does not place hormone pellets and asks women on pellet therapy to book a full initial evaluation rather than a transfer visit. Follow-up runs six to twelve weeks after starting treatment, then every six to twelve months once a regimen is settled.
