Carrie Frederick

Dr. Frederick is an OB/GYN at Women's Healthcare Associates, a large women's health group with offices across the Portland area. She sees patients at the Bridgeview office in Northwest Portland and names menopause, contraception and lifestyle medicine as her main interests. Before medicine she spent two years working as an EMT, and she later did a fellowship in family planning at Stanford. Menopause care usually starts at a wellness or gynecology visit where she goes over your symptoms and history, and treatment can sometimes begin that same day. She uses standard hormone therapy, testosterone for low libido after menopause, and non-hormonal medicines. Video visits are available as long as you are in Oregon at the time.
