Jana Magarian

Jana Magarian is the menopause-certified nurse practitioner at Macrae Medical, a small membership practice on Aquidneck Island. Menopause care is its own monthly membership with unlimited visits, separate from the practice's primary care membership. She uses FDA-approved hormone therapy and non-hormonal options, along with diet, exercise and lifestyle advice. Her care also covers bone and heart health, and she manages thyroid problems as part of her primary care work. The practice does not bill insurance for visits, so patients keep their own insurance for specialists and emergencies.

Care is by membership, and visits aren’t billed to insurance.
