About Involve Health
She is a chiropractor and a certified functional medicine practitioner, so she does not prescribe. Her part of menopause care is lab testing, supplement plans and lifestyle coaching, while the practice's nurse practitioner handles prescribing including hormone therapy. Involve Health runs a six-month perimenopause and menopause program in which the two of them work as a care team, starting with a long first visit in person or by video plus lab recommendations, then a session going through each result and what it means. She also holds a master's in positive psychology and coaching psychology, which is why one-on-one coaching sits between the clinical visits rather than being an extra. She went through perimenopause herself at 41 and says that is what turned her toward this work. Anyone with an acute injury, an active illness or active cancer is pointed to conventional medicine instead.
