137 practitioners have an office in New Jersey, and 90 more can see patients here by telehealth. 147 of them are certified by the Menopause Society, and the most are in Voorhees, Ridgewood and Englewood.
Dr. Chhabra runs a weight management practice in Hackensack and folds menopause care into it. She is a board certified internist who has spent more than 20 years in obesity medicine, and she treats midlife weight change as part of the menopause picture rather than a separate problem. For symptoms she prescribes hormone therapy, and she offers SSRIs to women who cannot take hormones or would rather not. She also watches the longer term effects of falling estrogen, with bone density and heart risk screening built into the plan. New patients start with a phone call about treatment options and cost, then come in for an evaluation, and there is a menopause health questionnaire alongside the general new patient forms. Care is in person at one office that is open three weekdays and every other Saturday.
Dr. Kim is a gynecologist at Valley Medical Group in Ridgewood, part of the Valley Health System, and she sees patients in the office with insurance billed. She is one of four certified menopause practitioners at the group's Menopause Center, which opened in 2025 at the same Ridgewood address where she sees her gynecology patients. Valley says the menopause team works with a patient's cardiologist, oncologist, nutritionist or sleep physician, and that treatment can mean lifestyle changes, medication or alternative therapies. Her own bio is about general gynecology, including heavy periods, abnormal Pap results and contraception, and in the office she does colposcopy, saline sonograms, IUD insertions and uterine biopsies. She coordinates the global health curriculum for Valley's OB-GYN residency and has volunteered as a surgeon on a medical mission to Guatemala for the past eight years. Nothing Valley publishes says what she prescribes for menopause.
Elizabeth Swenson is a board certified obstetrician gynecologist certified by the Menopause Society. Her listing points to Gennev, a national telehealth menopause service that bills insurance and also publishes self pay rates. Gennev does not name her anywhere. Its Our Providers page lists thirty six doctors and she is not among them, the site search returns no result for her, and no bio page exists for her while other clinicians' bios load normally. No other current practice could be found for her.
Stephanie Almeida, DO is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist at Jefferson OB/GYN Mayfair, a Jefferson Health practice on Frankford Avenue in Philadelphia, formerly Einstein OB/GYN Associates. Her provider page lists menopause, perimenopause and vaginal dryness among the conditions she treats and hormone replacement therapy among her treatments. She practices full-scope obstetrics and gynecology, with a stated interest in high-risk pregnancy and irregular cycles including PCOS, and also sees patients at the Lawndale and Paley offices.
