Heather Krantz

OB-GYN · MD, MSCP

Accepting new patients
  • Winfield, IL · Online only
  • Takes Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield +4 · first visit $150

MyMenopauseRx is a virtual menopause practice founded by a gynecologist, and Krantz is one of about a dozen clinicians a patient can pick from. Visits are video appointments of about thirty minutes, and most patients come back every eight to twelve weeks until their symptoms settle. She prescribes FDA-approved estradiol and progesterone rather than compounded hormones, and the practice is clear that it works alongside a patient's own primary care doctor rather than replacing it. Testosterone is written only for patients located in Illinois, and everyone else gets the prescription from their own doctor while the practice manages the dosing. Krantz has practiced for more than thirty years in university, HMO, community health and telehealth settings, and she completed the integrative medicine fellowship at the University of Arizona with training in medical acupuncture. She works from Oregon and says she has aged alongside her patients, which is how menopause care became her emphasis.

Casey Norton

Women's health · NP, MSCP

Accepting new patients
  • Fort Wayne, IN · Online only
  • Takes Aetna, Anthem +2 · first visit $250

Casey Norton is a nurse practitioner at Midi Health, a virtual clinic that focuses on perimenopause and menopause. She has worked in women's health for about ten years and says she chose the field after seeing how often women's concerns were brushed aside. Visits happen by video, starting with a half-hour first visit and shorter check-ins to adjust the plan. She offers both hormone and non-hormone treatment and follows Midi's research-based protocols, with labs when needed. She talks about the isolation many women feel in midlife and puts real weight on telling them they are not alone. You can book with her directly from her bio, though choosing her may mean fewer open times than booking any Midi clinician.

Intima Wellbeing is a solo practice in Findlay with a second office in Tiffin. Bethany Parsell is a urology and family nurse practitioner who treats women and men for hormone changes, pelvic floor problems and sexual health concerns. Hormone care covers perimenopause and menopause alongside testosterone deficiency, and she prescribes bioidentical hormone therapy or non-hormonal options depending on the patient. First appointments run 45 minutes to an hour and follow-up visits run at least 20 minutes. She also does pelvic floor muscle training, bladder and pelvic floor botox, and sacral neuromodulation for leaking and pelvic pain. Partners can be seen at the same visit when a concern affects both people.

Accepting new patients
  • Canton, OH · In person & virtual

Dr. Lemin is one of seven physicians at Atrium OB/GYN, a long-running gynecology and obstetrics group in Canton. She lists midlife women's health, including perimenopause and menopause, as a particular interest alongside minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. She is also board certified in obesity medicine, which is unusual for a gynecologist and useful for women whose weight shifts in midlife. Visits are in person at the practice's office, which also has its own ultrasound, lab and mammography services on site. Menopause concerns are billed as an office visit rather than folded into an annual exam, so it helps to book them as their own appointment.

OB-GYN · MD, FACOG, MSCP

Accepting new patients
  • Hilliard, OH · In person only
  • Takes Aetna, Anthem +4

Northwest Ob/Gyn is a group practice in Hilliard with seven doctors and a nurse practitioner, and it does a lot of obstetrics alongside gynecology. Dr. Miller is the only Menopause Society Certified Practitioner there, and her own bio says she specializes in preventive health care for women and gynecology. The practice lists menopause education and hormone replacement therapy among its gynecology services. Care is in person at the one Hilliard office and visits are by appointment only, with no walk ins. New patients bring or enter their paperwork through the online portal before the first visit, and the same portal is where patients request appointments, get results and message their doctor afterward. She trained at Vanderbilt and was in private practice there before joining Northwest.

Gretchen M. Fermann

OB-GYN · MD, MSCP

  • West Chester, OH · In person & virtual
  • Takes Aetna, Anthem +33

Dr. Fermann is a gynecologist with UC Health, the University of Cincinnati academic health system, and sees adults at its West Chester South medical office. Her own profile lists menopause, perimenopause and hot flashes among her clinical interests, alongside general gynecology. She also names primary ovarian insufficiency, pelvic pain and vulvar pain, which makes her a sensible choice for women with early menopause or painful sex. Care runs through a large hospital system that bills insurance, so this is regular office gynecology and not a stand-alone menopause program. New patients book by calling the office. She also teaches as volunteer faculty at the UC College of Medicine.

Jennifer Soper

OB-GYN · WHNP-BC, MSCP

Accepting new patients
  • Detroit, MI · Online only
  • Takes Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield +2 · first visit $250

Jennifer Soper is a women's health nurse practitioner who sees patients by video through Midi Health, a national virtual menopause practice. She spent 25 years as a labor and delivery nurse before becoming a nurse practitioner. She says estrogen therapy changed her own life when hot flashes started at 50, and that is why she moved into menopause care. Visits are billed to insurance or paid per visit, with no subscription. You can ask for her by name through the Book a Visit with Me link on her Midi page, though that can mean fewer open times than booking with any clinician.

Women's health · DNP, APRN, WHNP-BC, FNP-BC, MSCP

Accepting new patients
  • Los Altos Hills, CA · Online only
  • Insurance or self-pay · first visit $250

Stephanie Hawkins sees patients through Midi Health, a national virtual clinic for perimenopause and menopause. Every visit is by video, and Midi's site names her on its clinician list with her own bio. She has been a nurse since 1992 and a nurse practitioner since 1996, and she is certified in both family practice and women's health. She became a Certified Menopause Practitioner because she saw midlife as one of the hardest stretches in women's lives. Midi starts with a half-hour first visit and books short follow-ups as often as needed. Care plans can include hormone and non-hormone prescriptions, labs, and weight medication, and video visits have to happen while you are in your home state.

Far Hills OB/GYN is a seven-physician group with two offices on Far Hills Avenue in Washington Township, south of Dayton. The practice runs pregnancy care and general gynecology side by side, and its service list includes menopausal evaluation and treatment along with counseling on hormone options. Kennebeck joined the group in 2005, after medical school at the Uniformed Services University and a residency based at Travis Air Force Base in California. Care is in person, with the practice's own lab for blood draws and ultrasound done in the office, and new patients fill in registration and history forms before a first visit. For vaginal and urinary changes after menopause the office offers the MonaLisa Touch laser, done over three sessions with a yearly maintenance treatment. Patients quoted on the practice's own site mention seeing her for ten years or more.

Rhonda Gottmann is a women's health nurse practitioner certified by the Menopause Society. Her listing points to Midi Health, a virtual menopause clinic that sees patients by video only and refers out for anything needing an in person exam. Her registry record lists five Midi locations across New York, Kentucky, Florida, Ohio and Arizona, all sharing the company's single phone line. Midi does not currently name her anywhere on its site. Her bio page there returns a not found error and she is absent from the clinician directory, and no other current practice could be found for her.
