Family medicine · FNP, MSCP

Accepting new patients
  • Austin, TX · In person & virtual
  • Self-pay · first visit $250

Kristine Groemping is a family nurse practitioner and former Navy officer who started out in labor and delivery nursing and later worked as a menopause specialist at Evernow. She founded this small cash-pay practice, which treats perimenopause and menopause along with weight management, thyroid conditions and low libido in women. She is openly against pellets, pricey supplements and frequent hormone lab testing, and follows Menopause Society guidelines for estrogen, progesterone and testosterone. Most care happens by video, with refills handled by video or secure message, and she also sees patients at an office in southwest Austin. New patients can request a first hormone, testosterone or weight consultation online, and the booking page also offers a free introductory call.

Erin Phamvan

Family medicine · FNP-BC, WHNP-BC, MSCP

Accepting new patients
  • Nashville, TN · Online only
  • Membership · from $279/mo

Prévant Health is Erin Phamvan's own virtual practice, and every visit happens by video. It runs as a 12-month membership with a long first visit, quarterly follow-ups, and texting with Erin between visits. Menopause care is built around detailed lab work and shared decisions about hormones, alongside thyroid, heart and metabolic care. She is also trained in an Alzheimer's prevention program and folds brain-health risk into her plans. Although the mailing address is in Nashville, the practice currently sees patients only in a set of other states, and Tennessee is not one of them. You keep your own primary care provider for in-person exams and urgent needs.

Diana Kumar

OB-GYN · MD, MSCP, FACOG

Accepting new patients
  • Honolulu, HI · Online only
  • Self-pay · first visit $300

Diana Kumar is a board certified OB-GYN who co-founded Gliss Wellness, a virtual practice built around perimenopause and menopause. All care happens by video and secure messaging, so there is no office to visit. A menopause visit runs about 30 minutes and ends with a plan and prescriptions for an initial three month period, followed by a check-in visit before refills continue for the rest of the year. She prescribes hormone therapy when it fits, can order labs and scans, and sends prescriptions to the patient's own pharmacy. She also sees women for weight counseling and for urgent gynecology problems handled through a short written form. Her stated areas of interest are PCOS, sexual dysfunction, bone health and longevity medicine.

Lori A. Smith

Family medicine · DNP, APRN, FNP-C

Accepting new patients
  • Arkadelphia, AR · In person & virtual
  • Membership

Lori Smith runs Vitality Telehealth as a solo practice in Arkadelphia and sees most patients by video. Her hormone work is framed as hormone optimization rather than menopause care, though the site lists reduced hot flashes, night sweats and insomnia among what her bioidentical hormone therapy does for women. She also runs a direct primary care membership that covers preventive visits, chronic disease management and unlimited messaging, so hormone care can sit inside ongoing primary care. Prescribed therapies are shipped to your door, and new patients book a 45 minute telehealth consultation straight from her calendar. Alongside hormones she prescribes weight loss medication and peptide therapy, and she runs a separate aesthetics business out of the same office. She says patients come to her after being told by other providers that they are just getting old.

Lauren Wood Thum

Urology · MD, MSCP

  • Sioux Falls, SD · In person & virtual
  • Insurance or self-pay

Dr. Wood Thum is a urologist who also trained in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery. She sees women in Sioux Falls for prolapse, urinary incontinence and fistulas. Her own page says she also does hormone therapy evaluation and management, which is unusual for a urologist. That makes her a good fit if menopause shows up as bladder or pelvic floor trouble. She works in a large urology group with offices across South Dakota, Minnesota and Iowa, and she teaches at the Sanford USD medical school.

Julie Rashkis

Clinical Psychologist, MSCP

Accepting new patients
  • Los Gatos, CA · Online only
  • Self-pay · $325 per visit

Therapy for Midlife is Dr. Rashkis's solo virtual practice, and every session runs over video. She works with women moving through perimenopause and menopause, and she also sees men in midlife and couples. Care is talk therapy only, and the FAQ says the practice does not prescribe medication, though she will discuss a referral to a prescribing physician and can speak with your own doctor if you give written permission. For menopause she uses cognitive behavioral therapy for the distress that comes with hot flashes and CBT for insomnia for sleep trouble, alongside acceptance and commitment therapy and emotionally focused therapy. Sessions are 50 minutes, usually weekly at first and then spaced further apart, and she says most clients need five to fifteen of them. She is a lifelong competitive athlete who says she went through her own midlife upheaval, which is what led her to start the practice.

SHEILA Rose BOYLE

Physician · MD, MSCP, ABOM

  • Lone Tree, CO · In person & virtual
  • Self-pay · first visit $150

A solo direct-pay practice in Lone Tree whose stated scope is dermatology, cosmetic procedures and medically supervised weight management. The physician is board certified in dermatology and obesity medicine. Every initial visit is by video, with in-person follow-ups by appointment, and the practice does not bill insurance. Hormone replacement therapy is named only as one reason for a new-patient visit on the fee schedule, and no hormone or menopause care is described anywhere else on the site.

Teresa Walsh

OB-GYN · MD, MSCP

Accepting new patients
  • Honolulu, HI · Online only
  • Self-pay · first visit $300

Gliss Wellness is a virtual-only OB/GYN practice Dr. Walsh co-founded with a second board-certified OB/GYN, and menopause care is its main focus. Care starts with a 30-minute video consultation about your symptoms, and if hormone therapy suits you, you leave with prescriptions for the first three months. A follow-up at three months keeps refills going for the rest of the year, and refills in between happen by message through the patient portal. There is no membership, and you fill prescriptions at your own pharmacy. The doctors can't examine you in person but can order labs and other tests. Dr. Walsh's own interests include pelvic pain, endometriosis, fibroids and weight loss, and a free 15-minute call lets you meet the team before booking.

Laurel Jennings

Family medicine · MD, MSCP

Accepting new patients
  • Madison, SD · In person only
  • Takes Wellmark, Sanford Health Plan +3

Laurel Jennings is a family medicine physician at Madison Regional Health System, the hospital and clinic serving Madison and the rural area around it. She grew up in Miller, South Dakota and came here after medical school to practice family medicine with obstetrics, and she still cares for whole families and watches generations grow up. Menopause care sits alongside her obstetrics, pediatric and preventive work rather than being a separate clinic. She became a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner in 2026 after seeing how much unproven menopause advice circulates on social media, and she was of perimenopausal age herself at the time. Her stance is to talk through what is and is not FDA approved or safe for a particular woman instead of reaching for whatever is popular, and she points out that she gets no financial benefit from the treatments she recommends. Visits are in person at the clinic on weekdays and appointments are made by phone.

Amber Saloum

OB-GYN · MD, MSCP

  • Sioux Falls, SD · In person only
  • Takes Aetna

Amber Saloum is an OB/GYN at an Avera Medical Group clinic on the east side of Sioux Falls, where she works alongside four other providers. She practices full-spectrum obstetrics and gynecology, so menopause care sits next to pregnancy care, deliveries and gynecologic surgery. Her Avera profile names menopause as one of her two focus areas, and she also sees women for menstrual problems and pelvic pain. Hormone therapy is part of what Avera offers for menopause, and the system hands related problems like bone loss or sleep trouble to its own specialists. Surgery is a real part of her week, and she does ablation, laparoscopy and hysterectomy by the least invasive route she can, including robotic-assisted. She says she chose medicine because it joins two things she likes, science and serving people.
