Heather Vincent

Women's health · PA-C, MSCP

Accepting new patients
  • Seattle, WA · In person & virtual
  • Self-pay · first visit $400

Septima is a solo practice in Seattle for perimenopause, menopause and the years after, and Heather Vincent is the only clinician, so every visit is with her. She prescribes menopause hormone therapy and non-hormonal medication, and she does office gynecology such as IUDs, endometrial biopsies and pap smears. First visits run 90 minutes, with a 60 minute option for a tighter schedule or budget, and she prefers the intake in person in case a pelvic exam is needed. Follow-ups work in person or by video from anywhere in Washington, and each visit comes with 20 messages to her and a month of access to her strength training and education library. She spent six years in OB/GYN before opening Septima and works in collaboration with Jodie Wohl MD, a family practice and women's health physician. Bone health is a stated emphasis, which is why strength training instruction comes with every visit, and she holds community gatherings with an outside speaker four times a year.

Erica Oberg

Integrative medicine · ND, MPH, MSCP

Accepting new patients
  • La Jolla, CA · In person & virtual
  • Self-pay · from $450/mo

Dr. Oberg is a naturopathic doctor who runs a concierge practice from an ocean-view office in La Jolla. She has practiced since 2003 and was the founding medical director of Bastyr University's California campus. Hormone care starts with a symptom and history review and a hormone test, then moves to bioidentical hormones when they fit. She says hormones are not required and may begin with botanical or non-hormone support first. Care runs through fixed-length programs or a year-long membership, with a health coach on the team and a covering doctor when she is away. She also sees patients by video and keeps small offices in Arizona and Washington.

Alexa Fiffick

Family medicine · DO, MBS, MSCP

Accepting new patients
  • Westlake, OH · In person & virtual
  • Membership · from $125/mo

Concierge Medicine of Westlake is Dr. Fiffick's own practice. She keeps the patient panel small and runs it on annual memberships rather than billing insurance. The women's health membership covers non-obstetric care through midlife, with perimenopause and menopause symptom management alongside bone health, cardiovascular risk and urogenital health, and it includes hormone prescription management when she judges it appropriate. Members get 30 or 60 minute visits, same or next day openings, and her direct phone, text and email, and virtual visits are offered as a supplement with prior approval when an exam is not needed. She came to women's health through family medicine after being told early on that the only route was OB-GYN, then spent two years in the Cleveland Clinic's Specialized Women's Health fellowship. As an osteopathic physician she also does hands-on manipulative treatment, which patients can buy as its own membership or one visit at a time.

Teresa Walsh

OB-GYN · MD, MSCP

Accepting new patients
  • Honolulu, HI · Online only
  • Self-pay · first visit $300

Gliss Wellness is a virtual-only OB/GYN practice Dr. Walsh co-founded with a second board-certified OB/GYN, and menopause care is its main focus. Care starts with a 30-minute video consultation about your symptoms, and if hormone therapy suits you, you leave with prescriptions for the first three months. A follow-up at three months keeps refills going for the rest of the year, and refills in between happen by message through the patient portal. There is no membership, and you fill prescriptions at your own pharmacy. The doctors can't examine you in person but can order labs and other tests. Dr. Walsh's own interests include pelvic pain, endometriosis, fibroids and weight loss, and a free 15-minute call lets you meet the team before booking.

Kelly Perisin

Family medicine · FNP-C, MSCP

Accepting new patients
  • Wheaton, IL · Online only
  • Takes Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield +4 · first visit $150

Kelly Perisin is a nurse practitioner at MyMenopauseRx, a video-only practice that treats nothing but perimenopause and menopause. It was started by a Chicago-area gynecologist and bills insurance like a regular office. Visits take about 30 minutes on Zoom, and you can book the same clinician every time and message the care team between visits. Kelly came to menopause care from weight management and urgent care, and she draws on that when helping women with midlife weight gain. The practice prescribes FDA-approved estradiol and progesterone sent to your own pharmacy, and it prescribes testosterone directly only for patients in Illinois. It is meant to work alongside your own primary care doctor, who still handles anything that needs a physical exam.

Rachel Drayer

Women's health · PA-C, MSCP

  • Wenatchee, WA · In person & virtual
  • Self-pay · from $125/mo

Vitality is a locally owned clinic in Wenatchee that started out focused on hormones and menopause and has since grown into men's health, weight care and fitness testing. Rachel is the practice's certified menopause provider and uses both hormone and non-hormone treatment for perimenopause and menopause. She came to it from emergency medicine and years of wilderness medicine and outdoor teaching with NOLS, and is a lifelong athlete. Care starts with a long first consultation that includes blood work. Ongoing care is either a membership that covers visits, twice-yearly labs and medications, or pay-per-visit. Visits can be in the office or by video.

Mercedes Deal

Family medicine · APRN, MSCP

Accepting new patients
  • Coral Gables, FL · In person & virtual
  • Membership

Mercedes Deal founded Rêver Wellness, a private-pay clinic in Coral Gables that blends hormone care with skin treatments and weight care. Hormone therapy there is only available through a paid membership, and the tiers that include it also cover follow-up visits and lab work. Care starts with baseline labs and a first visit of about two hours, then labs are repeated every three months while the plan is adjusted. She prescribes bioidentical estradiol, progesterone and testosterone for women in perimenopause and menopause. She is a family nurse practitioner with extra training in functional medicine and peptide therapy, and the clinic also runs a thyroid and adrenal workup. New patients start with an intake questionnaire and a member of the team replies within a day or two.

Kudzai Dombo

OB-GYN · MD, MSCP

Accepting new patients
  • Burbank, CA · In person & virtual
  • Self-pay

Dr. Dombo is a board-certified OB-GYN who is going through the menopausal transition herself. She says starting hormone therapy and changing her nutrition and supplements took her from exhaustion and poor sleep back to enjoying life, and that is why she does this work. She trained in the early 2000s, when hormone therapy was widely feared, and now calls it the gold standard for symptom relief. The first visit runs 60 minutes and covers medical and gynecologic history, medications, nutrition and exercise, then a personal treatment plan. The visit also lists a nutritionist assessment, an exercise plan and mindset coaching, and follow-ups run 25 minutes. She writes publicly about why menopause hits Black women harder and how often they face barriers to care.

Amber Farook

Physician · MD

Accepting new patients
  • Edmonds, WA · In person & virtual
  • Takes Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield +2 · $230 per visit

Dr. Farook is a family physician who started this small Edmonds primary care practice in 2023 with a physician assistant. She sees patients of all ages and names women's health and menopause among the areas she cares most about. She is also board certified in obesity medicine and certified in psychiatry and addiction medicine, which is an unusual mix for a family doctor. The practice bills insurance, offers telehealth and same-day visits, and does procedures like IUD insertion and endometrial biopsy in the office. The site has no separate menopause program, so this care happens through regular office visits.
